Nice people, nice service cheapest fish and chips by far, food is excellent. Wished it was where I live Scottish Borders, when holidaying in Clacton every year have it at least twice a week for 2 weeks superb value for money... Junaid

First time trying this chip shop and definitely will be regular choice from now on. We had the half roast chicken and chips £6.50, couldn't fault it, it was amazing and lot's left over for tea. Best chip shop for miles in my opinion, staff were so friendly and it was immaculatey clean.

My son had a 1/2 pounder with cheese he said one of the best burgers he has had. I had cod and my daughter had chicken nuggets all with chips all very tasty.

possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had...really...absolutely excellent... I go every Friday... just went today, Friday 4/11/22... superb rock and chips, great value, need I say more? went again lunchtime today, 25/11/22...went again, lunchtime today, 9/12/22...rock and chips...16/12/22...half chicken and chips... absolutely lovely...a change from my usual simply superb traditional fish and chips, great food, great service...ok, let's face it...l get great food from here every week!😂 26 07 2025 just had another great meal... absolutely beautiful fish and chips, as always!😊

Ordered cod & chips to collect "ready in about 10 minutes", the lady who took the phone order said. Arrived to collect. I had to wait until our order was cooked fresh, but it was worth waiting for, the batter was lovely, the cod tasted good and the chips were the best I've had in a long while. I will definitely order from here again in the future. It is a shame that they don't do home delivery.
